12 Companies Selected to Participate in CIO/CISO Pitch Session at Baker Donelson's Cybercon 2016

(Atlanta, GA / September 8, 2016) Twelve companies from across the U.S. and beyond have been selected to participate in an invitation-only product pitch session during Baker Donelson's Cybercon 2016, an annual conference focused on the evolving issues affecting cybersecurity.

During the pitch session, the 12 companies will present their products to CIOs, CISOs and other security professionals from southeastern U.S. companies and governments. After all presentations are completed, the presenting companies will have a private lunch with the CIOs and CISOs. Additional introductions will be facilitated between presenting companies and CIOs and CISOs who have indicated an interest in a particular company's product.

"We are extremely pleased to have such a strong and diverse group of both foreign and domestic cybersecurity companies participating in this unique opportunity to tell their stories to leading professionals in the security industry," said Justin Daniels, the head of Baker Donelson's Atlanta Emerging Companies Group and the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator. "With most of the presenting companies coming from outside the U.S., this is truly an international event and highlights international recognition of the robust cybersecurity ecosystem of the Metro Atlanta area."

The 12 companies that will be presenting during the pitch session are:

  • Authomate (U.S.)
  • CyberArk (Israel/NY)
  • Cyberbit (Israel)
  • Cytegic (Israel)
  • Echoworx (Canada)
  • Galaxkey (U.K.)
  • NexDefense (U.S.)
  • Panaseer Limited (U.K.)
  • Race-IQ (U.S.)
  • Siemplify (Israel)
  • TopSpin Security (Israel)

Cybercon 2016, which will be held on September 27 at Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia, will bring together business, governmental and academic leaders to discuss the continually changing cybersecurity landscape. In addition to the pitch session, it will feature as the keynote event a "fireside chat" with Department of Homeland Security's Deputy Undersecretary for Cybersecurity and Communications Dr. Phyllis Schneck, the senior-most official at DHS whose responsibilities are focused solely on cybersecurity.

Cybercon 2016 is the first of two major cybersecurity events to be hosted in Atlanta's Technology Square, with the 2016 Georgia Tech Cyber Security Summit being held the following day on September 28 at the same location.
