(Nashville, TN/September 27, 2012) J. Allen Roberts has joined the Nashville office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC.
Mr. Roberts, who joins as shareholder, concentrates his practice in general business law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity and debt offerings, including private placements of convertible debt, preferred stock, common stock and warrants.

A frequent lecturer on mergers and acquisitions and corporate issues, Mr. Roberts is a 1995 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law where he was the research editor of the Tennessee Law Review. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and is active in the American Bar Association in the Business Law Section and M&A Jurisprudence, M&A Trends, Negotiated Acquisitions and Private Equity M&A subcommittees.
