(Atlanta, GA / May 7, 2014) Baker Donelson is a founding sponsor of the Association of Corporate Counsel Georgia Chapter Inc. (ACC-Georgia) Women's Initiative.
ACC-Georgia has nearly 900 in-house counsel members from a broad range of area corporations and is the leading source of information and networking opportunities for in-house counsel in the state. The Women's Initiative will focus on the advancement of women in the legal profession and will include a series of programs designed to help female in-house counsel take control of their careers and move them to the next level.

Also, Jennifer Cooper, shareholder in Baker Donelson's Atlanta office, has been named to the ACC-Georgia Women's Initiative Steering Committee. Ms. Cooper will serve a one-year term on the Steering Committee, which will work closely with ACC-Georgia Chapter leadership to develop innovative programs that serve to advance women in the in-house legal profession.
