(New Orleans, LA / August 1, 2013) Kenneth M. Klemm of Baker Donelson has been reappointed as co-chair of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Energy Litigation Committee. This will be Mr. Klemm's second consecutive term serving in this position.
As co-chair, Mr. Klemm will continue to lead the more than 500-member committee, overseeing publications and continuing legal education events offered by the committee. He previously served on the Programs Subcommittee from 2009-2010.
The ABA's Energy Litigation Committee aims to provide members with litigation-focused information on the production, transportation and marketing of oil, natural gas and electricity, as well as federal regulation of those industries.
Mr. Klemm is a shareholder in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office where he serves as co-chair of the Firm's Marine and Energy Industry Service Team. He is an experienced litigator who primarily defends clients in marine, energy, oil and gas litigation, with clients ranging from local businesses and individuals to oil and pollution clean-up companies, to the world's largest independent natural gas producer. Mr. Klemm has been recognized as a leading attorney in his field by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America®. He is a member of the Louisiana State, New Orleans, New Jersey, New York, American and Federal Bar Associations and is an Advisory Board Member for the Institute of Energy Law.
