Robert Divine was recently profiled in an Immigration Law360 Q&A. Mr. Divine talks with Law360 about his career and important issues in his practice area. "Immigration rules reflect the ambivalence of the American people, although unfortunately I think a relatively small portion of voters these days hold much greater sway because they feel very strongly against most immigration and take time to hound their representatives about their position. We who feel more ambivalent need to try to respect and address gracefully the understandable fears of the relative few and mobilize the rational ambivalence of the majority toward a new equilibrium of immigration that capitalizes on our country's attractiveness, fills holes in our economy and reduces the demographic imbalance of our aging population, all as a testament to the dream we share."
