Martha Boyd, a U.S. Army veteran, was interviewed by Chattanooga's News Channel 9 as part of a series entitled "The Price of Freedom: Helping Iraqi Allies." Ms. Boyd discusses the special immigration visa for Iraqis who worked for America.
"They were primarily interpreters, but they were also political advisors and cultural advisors," Ms. Boyd said. "We couldn't succeed without them, and we can't going forward. I think we need to send a message that if you work for the Americans wherever we are in the world we're going to take care of you."
