(Memphis, TN/December 9, 2010) Craig C. Conley, of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, was honored with the Sam A. Myar, Jr. Memorial Award, which recognizes a young attorney who has rendered outstanding personal service to the Memphis and Shelby County legal profession and community.
A shareholder in the Firm's Memphis office, Mr. Conley has significant experience in litigation in a variety of areas with an emphasis in medical malpractice defense, long-term care litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, products liability defense, premises liability, insurance defense, personal injury defense and labor and employment. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he was in-house counsel for Federal Express Corporation within the litigation department.
A member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Mr. Conley served as a Board member of the organization's Young Lawyer Division and was a participant in its Leadership Law program. He currently serves on the Memphis Bar Association's Board of Directors and has been a participant in the mentoring program since 2006. Mr. Conley previously served as president and a member of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
