The Supreme Court of Georgia recently heard arguments in nine appeals that relate to the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless Inc. The case has been tied up in litigation for nearly five years. One of the main issues relates to the ownership of the shelter and whether or not the Task Force should be evicted from the building. In this Atlanta Business Chronicle, Steven Hall, the Task Force’s attorney, said his hope is the Supreme Court will rule the whole case be tried together, which would allow the case to go back before the Fulton County Superior Court.
"We just want to get to trial," Mr. Hall said.
