More transgender employees are filing EEOC claims alleging different forms of discrimination – from dress code policies to access to restrooms. Employers are increasingly faced with the question of what to do when an employee raises the issue of his or her gender identity. During this session, we will review federal laws prohibiting discrimination against transgender employees and how federal agencies are enforcing them in the workplace. We will look at case studies and discuss some useful tips for employers.
