Join Ken Weber for a look at recent cases holding that unpaid interns are actually employees and are entitled to be paid at least minimum wage and overtime, an issue that made national media headlines last year with the Black Swan case. We'll also look at the Supreme Court's recent wage and hour decision on "donning and doffing" issues that determine whether employees should be paid for the time it takes to put on protective clothing at the worksite, as well as the implications of a bill that was under consideration by the Tennessee General Assembly this term that would have allowed employees to waive their unpaid lunch breaks.
