Ms. Locke is an associate in Baker Donelson's Birmingham office and a member of the Advocacy Department. She advises clients in the health, education, and transportation industries in all aspects of employment matters, including employee handbooks and agreements, severance and separation agreements, internal investigations, and regular compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Her successful work for clients has included negotiating numerous favorable settlement agreements in areas ranging from race discrimination and retaliatory discharge to misappropriation of trade secrets.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Locke served as a legal intern for the University of Alabama School of Law's Civil Law Clinic and Elder Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with an array of legal and social needs. Ms. Locke also served as a clerk to the Honorable Samuel Junkin of the 24th Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama and spent time as a legal research assistant at the University of Alabama School of Law, where she focused on prison reform.
