Two Baker Donelson attorneys have been selected to participate in the 2022 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) programs. Mary Wu Tullis has been selected to the Fellows Program, and Charles C. McLaurin has been selected to the Pathfinders Program.
Ms. Tullis is one of 426 Fellows named to the 2022 class of Fellows. Designed for lawyers with eight to 15 years of legal experience, the LCLD Fellows Program connects high-potential attorneys with leading general counsel, managing partners, and their peers for mentoring and career guidance. Ms. Khawaja and Mr. McLaurin are among 433 attorneys selected to the 2022 Pathfinders Program, which is designed to train high-performing, early-career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship-building.
Ms. Tullis is a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Memphis office, where she has a diverse litigation and counseling practice, handling contractual disputes, tax liability litigation, product liability litigation, and labor and employment issues for financial institutions, health care entities, insurance companies, and businesses. She also frequently counsels clients through contract negotiations and advises on risk exposure. Ms. Tullis has been named a Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers and is recognized in Best Lawyers in America® "Ones to Watch." She was previously an LCLD Pathfinders Program participant and is currently a member of the Leadership Memphis 2022 Executive Program Class. She is a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and is a board member of the Tennessee affiliate. Ms. Tullis is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, where she has served in several leadership roles, including president of the Young Lawyers Division.
Mr. McLaurin, an associate in the Firm's Nashville office, focuses his practice on commercial and fiduciary litigation, representing clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including a wide range of contractual disputes and business torts, both in state and federal courts, in addition to arbitrations and mediations. He also has significant experience assisting personal representatives, individual and corporate trustees, individual beneficiaries, and families in resolving disputes concerning the administration of trusts, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships. A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, Mr. McLaurin has been named a Best Lawyers in America® "Ones to Watch" in Commercial Litigation and Litigation – Trusts and Estates.
