Since May 2016, employers have analyzed, discussed and contemplated how the changes in overtime law will impact their organizations. With a little more than two months until the deadline for compliance with the new overtime law, now is the time to make sure your organization has an action plan for implementation. This session will discuss the new regulations and provide helpful guidance on conversion, timekeeping and classification. We will also discuss the latest challenge to the DOL's rule by 21 states. Participants will be provided several examples of how to calculate overtime for employees who earn commissions or bonuses, are paid a piece rate, have a fluctuating workweek and more.
