Lauren is a seasoned litigator, representing individuals and companies in high-stakes disputes. Lauren applies her experience and ability to identify and achieve practical solutions to the complicated and technical issues that arise in complex commercial litigation. Her commercial practice focuses primarily on contract disputes and business torts, including unfair competition, the Lanham Act, antitrust, payor-provider disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and deceptive business practices, and tortious interference with prospective economic advantage.
Lauren also litigates a range of employment-related disputes, including disclosure of confidential information, theft of trade secrets, and violations of restrictive covenants and non-solicitation provisions in employment agreements. She has successfully represented clients in connection with government investigations and subpoenas. Her practice extends across federal and state courts, private arbitrations, appeals, and trials.
Lauren also serves as co-counsel and local counsel to national law firms litigating patent issues under the Hatch-Waxman Act in the District of New Jersey.
Prior to private practice, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Lisa Rose of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Lauren taught middle and high school with Teach for America in New Orleans follow Hurricane Katrina.
