Lindsay Lounsbury is an associate in Baker Donelson's Birmingham office and a member of the Complex Litigation and Class Actions Group.

Professional Biography


Lindsay Lounsbury represents clients in complex tort matters including commercial litigation, class action, and product liability claims as a member of the Hospitality Industry Service Team.

Before joining Baker Donelson, Lindsay served in all three branches of the United States federal government. Most recently, Lindsay served as associate counsel to Vice President Mike Pence, where she advised on agency litigation and other legal issues. Lindsay also held two positions in the Department of Justice, first in the Office of Legislative Affairs, where she managed Congressional oversight and developed legislative strategy, and later in the Civil Division as counsel to the Senate-confirmed Assistant Attorney General. Prior to her latest tenure at the Department of Justice, Lindsay was counsel to a member of the U.S. Senate and a law clerk to Judge David J. Porter in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

  • Successfully defended a hospitality company in a federal lawsuit alleging the company improperly altered benefits relating to an individual's timeshare interest. Obtained a complete dismissal of the lawsuit.
