Mary Gentry is an associate in Baker Donelson's Baton Rouge office and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, where she assists clients in employment-related matters.
Ms. Gentry graduated from LSU in 2016 with a B.A. in English literature and a minor in political science. After LSU, Ms. Gentry moved to Washington, D.C., where she gained valuable experience in both the House of Representatives and the Senate for two years before returning to Louisiana to attend the LSU Law Center. While there, Ms. Gentry served on the Board of Advocates and was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court External Team and the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court External Team.
Before joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Gentry served as a law clerk for the Honorable James D. Cain in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and completed an externship for Justice Marcus Clark of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
