Matt Duff leverages 15 years of experience working in D.C. to provide clients with strategic advice on energy, trade, cross-border business, government funding, supply chain resilience, electric and autonomous vehicles, and other emerging technology issues. He maintains strong relationships with Congressional Republicans, the Trump Administration, and the Japanese government through his work with the U.S.-Japan Roundtable and the Howard Baker Forum.
In his prior role as vice president of The Howard Baker Forum, a public and international affairs affiliate of Baker Donelson, Matt partnered with organizations like the Cyber Media Forum, Atlantic Council, Chatham House, and Indo-Pacific Center on cybersecurity, data privacy, and emerging technology issues. In support of the Forum's longstanding program, the U.S.-Japan Roundtable, he worked closely with the Japanese government and companies on trade, nuclear energy, clean energy policy, supply chain resilience, and data governance to achieve the goals of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and improving public understanding of nuclear energy.
Matt's time in D.C. includes roles on-site at several federal agencies as a management consultant for Acuity, Inc. He has a degree in finance from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a law degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University.
