Baker Donelson is pleased to announce the arrival of Phillip Sharp to the Firm's Business Litigation Group. He was previously a partner at Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom and also practiced for more than 20 years as a partner at Bracewell & Giuliani.
Mr. Sharp joins Baker Donelson as a shareholder in the Houston office and has extensive first-chair jury trial experience in cases ranging from breach of contract and fraud lawsuits to fiduciary cases to catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has tried oil and gas lease disputes, environmental pollution cases, business interruption claims, pipeline construction cases, employment discrimination and retaliation cases and a variety of occupational injury lawsuits. Mr. Sharp has represented companies across several industries, including exploration and production companies, midstream pipelines, oilfield service companies, refineries and forest products manufacturers.

A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Sharp is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
