Richard D. Faulkner, Jr. and Amy W. Mahone have been named the leaders of Baker Donelson's Seniors Housing and Long Term Care Team.
Mr. Faulkner and Ms. Mahone will lead a team of approximately 100 professionals serving all aspects of seniors housing and long term care. The multidisciplinary industry service team includes regulatory, transactions, governmental investigations, labor and employment, and bankruptcy and distressed assets subgroups.

Mr. Faulkner and Ms. Mahone bring significant experience in the seniors housing and long term care sector. Mr. Faulkner's practice includes finance, acquisitions and sales, regulatory advice, and serving as outside general counsel to numerous operators in the sector. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Faulkner served as legal counsel and Vice President of Strategic Growth for Life Care Centers of America, a national long term care provider. His experience includes billions of dollars of transactions across seniors housing and long term care and ancillary services. From her early years with The Nathanson Group in Seattle, Ms. Mahone's legal practice focuses on leading complex transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, management, and operations. She also addresses corporate law issues for both tax-exempt and for-profit companies, along with licensure and certificate of need matters.

Mr. Faulkner and Ms. Mahone assume leadership of the team at a time of change in America.
