Sheila leverages her chemistry training and pharmaceutical industry experience to represent clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes over provider contracts, indemnification provisions, lease terms, restrictive covenants, shareholder disputes and trade secret misappropriation. She litigates state and federal environmental disputes, products liability claims, including opioid matters, and toxic torts, all matters in which her scientific background is invaluable. Sheila also uses her experience to counsel clients conducting environmental due diligence and products liability risk assessments related to transactions and regulatory requirements. She provides general counsel advice to a large New Jersey non-profit organization.
Sheila has advised employers on more than 200 AAA arbitrations involving employment claims, ERISA, and severance issues.
Sheila is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), which is considered the preeminent organization of lawyers who provide litigation services and counsel to corporations and insurers throughout the world.
