Tiffani V. Williams of Baker Donelson and The Daschle Group has been recognized by Lawyers of Color on its Top Lobbyists & Influencers list for 2019.
Ms. Williams was one of only 50 government relations executives recognized on this select list. Lawyers of Color, a non-profit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities, featured the Top Lobbyists & Influencers honorees in the third edition of its Caucus Issue.
A senior vice president and public policy advisor with The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson, and of counsel with Baker Donelson, Ms. Williams is based in Washington, D.C., where she concentrates her practice on regulatory and legislative matters relating to the provision of health care services. She represents various segments of the health care industry and has advised clients on a range of issues, including health care reform policy, congressional appropriations and funding, insurance coverage and reimbursement, HIPAA and fraud and abuse compliance, prescription drug pricing, health information technology incentive programs and public health interventions. Ms. Williams interfaces directly with Congress, as well as the administration and executive branch agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Williams is a member of the American Health Law Association and the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation, and serves on the board of the Washington Government Relations Group. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and the Yale University School of Public Health.
