Join Baker Donelson shareholder and American Bar Association president Linda Klein for the Symposium on Veteran Access to Justice, sponsored by the Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough Center on Professionalism at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
The Symposium will focus on "what we know and need to know" about veteran access to justice. The goals of the symposium are to assess what data are available about specific types of service initiatives — such as medical-legal partnerships, veterans treatments courts and veterans legal clinics — and to promote useful, grounded research and data collection going forward. It will also feature a keynote address from Leigh A. Bradley, general counsel for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
