Mr. Sveadas primarily represents banks, financial institutions and asset-based lenders in loan workouts, insolvency and related litigation. Mr. Sveadas also has extensive experience with receivership, creative restructuring of problem loans, foreclosure, guarantor recovery, Chapter 11 and 13 confirmation disputes, preference litigation, lien litigation, letter of credit issues, as well as enforcing the rights of creditors in all aspects of the bankruptcy process.
Mr. Sveadas handles pro bono cases and coordinates fund raising events with the Legal Aid of East Tennessee, and also volunteers as a youth basketball and soccer coach. He is an occasional presenter and teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, and is a member of the Firm's BakerGreen Committee, which is dedicated to reducing the Firm's environmental impact.
