With twenty-five years of experience in commercial loan work-out and recovery matters, Ms. Inman represents holders of CMBS loans through special servicers, banks with defaulted balance sheet loans, and other holders of secured obligations. Based in the Chattanooga office, Ms. Inman's national practice involves working extensively with special servicers in wide-ranging CMBS matters including foreclosure, receivership, carve-out and full-recourse guaranty litigation, and pursuit of breach of warranty claims against sellers under mortgage loan purchase agreements.
Ms. Inman's practice includes significant experience in timely and practical resolutions of defaulted loans including discounted payoffs, note sales, deeds in lieu, loan modifications and other structures tailored to protect the interest of the creditor. She has long defended creditor clients against many types of lender liability actions in both state and federal courts. She also provides defense of creditors and other businesses in preference suits, lien avoidance actions and other bankruptcy claims. She has experience in representation of parties in bankruptcy asset sales, Chapter 11 confirmation disputes, defense of claims objections as well as enforcing the rights of creditors in all aspects of the bankruptcy process.
