Alex Breazeale is an energy attorney and focuses her practice on advising and representing utilities in connection with regulatory matters before the Public Service Commission of South Carolina and other regulatory agencies.

Professional Biography


Alex Breazeale has represented clients in regulatory litigation before administrative agencies involving base rates, siting, fuel recovery, integrated resource plans, and competitive procurement.

Alex also represents clients in a broad range of commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts in South Carolina. She has developed in-depth knowledge and experience in eDiscovery and the understanding, management, and organization of complex discovery, including document review and organization, as well as witness preparation in complex cases. She has experience in litigating various design and construction cases, environmental claims, business and commercial disputes and business fraud cases. In addition, Alex has experience in handling False Claims Act and qui tam matters in industries such as health care and energy.

While at the University of South Carolina, Alex worked at Michelin North America and the Southern Company. Before launching her legal career, she was a supply chain analyst at Michelin North America, where she managed supply chain and logistics projects, as well as the transportation budget for the business.
