The law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a shareholder-level attorney with significant experience in traditional labor law to join our nationally-recognized Labor & Employment practice. Ideal applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in traditional labor law, with deep management-side labor experience, looking to build and grow a practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial firm culture. Applicants must have a self-sustaining portable book of business and have a demonstrated track record of success representing employers. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead the Firm’s traditional labor capabilities across industries and our geographic footprint. Litigation Associate - Charleston (#826)

The Charleston office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks an associate with two or more years of complex litigation experience to become an integral part of our Advocacy Department. Experience in commercial litigation and employment and/or health care law is preferred. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and analytical aptitude with deposition, discovery, motion practice, and courtroom experience are sought to assume responsibility in an active and diverse federal and state court litigation practice. We seek a bright, hardworking, and responsive attorney with good judgment and attention to detail. The associate will work closely with senior litigators who will provide active mentoring and client contact. South Carolina law license required.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of sophisticated transactions, including aircraft purchases and sales, leasing, financing, and ownership structuring. Our aviation attorneys are trusted advisors to a diverse group of clients and handle complex, high value matters that often cross jurisdictions. While experience in aviation law is preferred, we are also interested in candidates with a solid foundation in corporate, finance, or transactional work, particularly those with experience in asset-based lending, equipment leasing, structured finance, or similar areas, who have a genuine interest in developing an aviation-focused practice. Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager located anywhere within the Firm’s geographical footprint.

The IT Project Manager must coordinate and manage department and enterprise level technology projects, provide project analysis and status information to management, assist interested Firm teams with implementing recommended project management practices, and participate in improving project management office (PMO) practices, policies, and procedures. Bankruptcy Associate - North Carolina or South Carolina (#839)

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C. seeks an associate with bankruptcy, workout, and/or relevant commercial litigation experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group. The position involves representing lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, and businesses in a variety of commercial loan restructuring and insolvency matters with default resolutions, collections, loan workouts, and bankruptcy-related matters in federal and state court. Knowledge of CMBS (including special servicing), commercial lending, real estate, maritime, and/or energy law are a plus. This is a terrific opportunity to gain sophisticated hands-on experience as part of a multi-office team of collaborative and goal-oriented professionals in a thriving commercial loan restructuring and workout practice with significant client contact. Academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills are sought to assume responsibility in this active and diverse practice.
