The national law firm of Baker Donelson has added Kevin C. Baltz, an experienced business counselor and trial attorney, to its Commercial Litigation Group.

Mr. Baltz, who joins as a shareholder in the Firm's Nashville office, litigates complex commercial disputes in a variety of industries, including real estate, health care, manufacturing, construction, and finance. He has tried cases in state and federal courts, the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. (JAMS), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He was previously a partner with Butler Snow, where he most recently served as practice group leader for the Commercial Litigation Group.

Mr. Baltz is a Rule 31 Listed Mediator in the field of General Civil Litigation by the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission, and he serves on the Hearing Committee for Disciplinary District V of the Tennessee Supreme Court. In 2024, he was inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Baltz is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Foundation, and he is past president of the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation (2024 – 2025) and Litigation – Real Estate (2024 – 2025) and has twice been recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as an "Attorney for Justice."
