Baker Donelson has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a 2018 Compass Award winner. The award honors LCLD members who demonstrate their continued commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession through their participation in and support of LCLD's mission and programs. Baker Donelson and Chairman and CEO Ben C. Adams were honored at the LCLD's 2018 annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Baugh, chair of Baker Donelson's Diversity Committee.
As an active member of the LCLD, Baker Donelson's involvement in the organization includes attendance at the annual meeting, participation in the LCLD Fellows Program, participation in the LCLD Pathfinder Program, and participation in the LCLD Pipeline Program 1L Scholars Program or the Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
Associate Kavita Shelat is a member of the current LCLD Fellows Program class, and Associate Mary Wu Tullis is participating in the Pathfinders Program. Ms. Shelat joined a class of 298 attorneys from around the country selected to the 2018 Fellows class, which was created to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Ms. Tullis is among more than 160 attorneys selected to the 2018 Pathfinders Program, which trains early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
