Brian Pike collaborates with Baker Donelson's other general counsel team members to advise the Firm on risk management, conducting research and reviewing contracts and renewals for approval before they are executed.
He has extensive experience in legal technology, and process improvement initiatives for legal operations and law firms, and works closely with Baker Donelson's Client Solutions Group to design and implement process and technology solutions across all of the Firm's practice areas.
He formerly served as an operations and process analyst in the legal department of a top American auto manufacturer, where he advised and collaborated with the operations department and firm counsel on global convergence processes, technology planning and implementation, policy creation and deployment and other initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion.
Prior to that role, Brian worked with a UK-based legal Alternative Business Structure (ABS) and its U.S.-based technology company as an associate attorney and solutions architect. Within this multi-faceted role, he worked directly with developers to productize legal technology and prototype solutions for customers across industries, specializing in firm and in-house/business solutions. He presented these solutions to stakeholders across industries, including Fortune 100 companies, and worked with UK-counsel on start-up related legal issues.
