Mr. Biller represents clients in many aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination and harassment claims, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigations. He also counsels clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws, and assists in drafting and reviewing of employment handbooks, agreements, and other internal documents.
While Mr. Biller focuses his practice on employment litigation, he also assists clients in a wide range of litigation matters in areas such as commercial torts, health care, personal injury, and general business litigation. His skills in pretrial investigations and discovery have resulted in dismissed claims and lawsuits against his clients, and he has obtained numerous favorable settlement agreements and court rulings. He enjoys working with his clients to develop a personalized legal strategy designed to address their specific needs and desired outcomes.
Mr. Biller is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Tennessee. In addition to serving multiple pro bono clients, he volunteers at and coordinates the HELP clinic, a free monthly legal clinic, at Room in the Inn.
Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Biller studied finance and marketing at the University of Tennessee and served as the head swim coach for a local summer league team. During law school, Mr. Biller interned at a federal electric utility corporation in its customer contracts division, where he gained valuable experience drafting, researching, and investigating. Mr. Biller enjoys implementing these skills in his legal career today.
