Georgia assists clients, including financial institutions, banks, and mortgage and auto loan servicers, in various financial services litigation matters and disputes. Her practice includes representing lenders and servicers in claims under federal and state consumer protection statutes, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as Texas's home equity lending statutes.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Georgia worked at a national law firm, where she gained experience in litigation matters concerning real property, probate law, torts, financial services, and bankruptcy. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David A. Ezra in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
