Dr. Termine focuses her practice on patent prosecution in the life science and biotechnology industries. She works with clients to assist them with their patentability assessments, biosimilar assessments and strategy, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, IP due diligence, and pre-suit investigation and litigation support for life sciences.
Before attending the Tulane University Law School, Dr. Termine graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with an undergraduate degree in biology and received a Ph.D. in genetics from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Her dissertation research focused on using next-generation sequencing technologies and bioinformatic platforms to identify novel genetic mutations associated with hereditary prostate cancer.
Dr. Termine's technical skills encompass genetics, molecular biology, physiology, and next-generation sequencing. She has also presented both oral presentations and posters at scientific meetings and conferences.
