Lisa Blitstein is an associate in Baker Donelson's Baltimore office and a member of the Corporate Group.

Professional Biography


Ms. Blitstein focuses her practice on environmental, renewable and solar energy, and commercial transactions. She also has experience handling environmental litigation, land use matters, residential and commercial real estate litigation, and zoning disputes. Ms. Blitstein has assisted clients with administrative enforcement of environmental violations, easement disputes, construction litigation, landlord-tenant issues, commercial contracts, and complex civil litigation, including appeals.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Blitstein was an associate at a law firm based in Montgomery County, Maryland. She previously clerked for the Honorable Kathryn G. Graeff of the Appellate Court of Maryland. With broad experience drafting judicial opinions on complex civil and high-profile cases, she brings a strong understanding of the unique considerations for appellate success. Ms. Blitstein also previously served as a legal extern for the U.S. EPA, Office of General Counsel, External Civil Rights Compliance Office (ECRCO), where she assisted senior EPA leaders in developing recommendations to improve federal agency investigations into nondiscrimination violations that impact air, water, and public health nationwide.
