Madison Perry Tao

Madison Perry Tao is an associate in the Firm's Nashville office and a member of the Advocacy Department. She assists clients with a variety of litigation matters, including in areas such as commercial torts, personal injury, and general business litigation.

Professional Biography


Ms. Perry Tao strives to prioritize her clients' needs and desired outcomes and aims to instill the confidence needed to establish lasting, trusted relationships. She also serves a variety of pro bono clients, including Disability Rights Tennessee.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson as an associate, Ms. Perry Tao studied English and Writing, Rhetoric, and Communication at Transylvania University. While at Vanderbilt Law School, Ms. Perry Tao served as a research assistant to Professor Rebecca Allensworth. Her note, "On the Defensive: Analyzing Insurers' Duty to Defend Pharmaceutical Companies for Contributing to the Opioid Epidemic," was published by the Vanderbilt Law Review.
