As an associate in the Firm's Advocacy Department, Michael focuses his practice on various litigation matters, where he assists clients throughout the litigation process.
Before joining Baker Donelson, Michael worked for an international legal nonprofit, where he assisted in drafting briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal district courts.
Michael's law review note, "Exasperated but Not Exhausted: Unlocking the Trap Set by the Exhaustion Doctrine on the FDA's REMS Petitioners," 77 Vanderbilt Law Review 937 (2024), has been cited by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Michael earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as an articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and received the Scholastic Excellence Award in Complex Litigation, awarded to the top-performing student in the course. While in law school, Michael externed for Justice Sarah K. Campbell of the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Honorable Ryan T. Holte of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the Consumer Protection Division of the Tennessee Attorney General's Office. He also served as a summer associate at Baker Donelson.
