Stefan R. Kostas

Stefan concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and the formation, structuring, and governance of business entities. He advises clients on strategic transactions and corporate initiatives across all stages of the business life cycle. His experience spans buy-side and sell-side transactions, private equity investments, strategic alliances, and a broad range of commercial contracting and general corporate matters. Stefan has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including health care and life sciences, renewable energy, manufacturing, foodservice distribution, media, and technology.

• Represented an automotive and energy manufacturer in connection with product/service agreements worth more than $1 billion.

• Represented a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider in the $23 million sale of all its capital stock to a private equity buyer.

• Advised a foreign platform company of an international private equity firm with respect to its acquisition of the equity of a U.S. medical device company.

• Represented a leading provider of administration and technology solutions for health plans in connection with a majority growth investment from a private equity firm.

• Represented a leading female-focused athletic brand in its sale to a private equity firm for approximately $60 million.

• Represented a foodservice distribution business in the sale of all of its equity interests and related real property to a publicly traded company.

• Represented an oil and gas company in connection with a multimillion dollar financing transaction for the drilling of oil wells in Alaska.
