Professional Biography


Ms. Doyle, a member of the Firm's Health Care Litigation Group, represents health care providers, liability insurance companies and others in the health care industry. She assists clients in managing litigation in a wide range of health care facilities, specializing in long-term health providers.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Doyle worked in the public sector as an admissions coordinator for the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners, where she conducted legal research and provided advice related to the licensing and admission of attorneys to the Tennessee bar. Ms. Doyle also served as a law clerk and assistant to the Honorable Joe H. Thompson with the Sumner County Circuit Court in Gallatin, Tennessee; as an assistant attorney general for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Civil Rights and Claims Division, where she represented the State in tort and Section 1983 civil rights actions; and as an assistant public defender in Sumner County, Tennessee, where she represented clients charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses. Ms. Doyle also has experience as a general civil and criminal trial practitioner in the private sector and as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society for Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands.

  • Successfully prosecuted an appeal to restore public housing tenants' leaseholds.

  • Advised a Tennessee hospital in connection with its formal investigation into a physician's alleged violation of medical staff standards. Assisted the peer review committee with drafting a final report and recommendations.

  • Won summary judgment for a Tennessee marina in a personal injury lawsuit alleging an individual tripped and fell on a sidewalk.
