Mr. Lambert is office managing shareholder for the New Orleans and Mandeville offices. Before assuming his role, he led Baker Donelson's Business Litigation Group, one of the Firm's largest groups, with more than 100 attorneys across 22 offices in 11 states and Washington, D.C.
For more than three decades, Mr. Lambert has helmed large and complex lawsuits, including bet-the-company litigation matters, pursuing and defending his clients in matters involving fraud and other intentional and unintentional business torts; unfair trade practice matters; breach of fiduciary duty and professional liability claims; commercial and contract actions; disputes over intellectual property; franchise matters; property and leasehold disputes; and qui tam and civil RICO actions. His clients operate in a variety of industries, including chemical and petrochemical concerns, aggregates, transportation, manufacturing, telecommunications, health care, hospitality, construction, technology, lending and financial services, insurance, and real estate.
Mr. Lambert has litigated and successfully resolved hundreds of matters around the country, and when necessary, has successfully tried numerous cases – both bench and jury trials – in jurisdictions from New Mexico to Virginia. He has also handled arbitration matters, state and federal appeals (including matters that reached the United States Supreme Court), and countless mediations and other pre-suit dispute resolution proceedings.
